COURSE DESCRIPTION
This research program explores the psychological foundations of human attention, learning, and memory. It will examine the basic cognitive mechanisms involved in perception and attention, how perception informs learning and knowledge, and in turn, how people draw and act upon that knowledge in everyday life.
This research program provides a solid foundation for understanding basic psychological processes. It also provides a basis for drawing practical insights that are relevant to interpreting and predicting consumer behavior.
PROFESSOR BACKGROUND
Professor is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Yale School of Management and Psychology and Cognitive Science at Yale University.
Prof. is an expert in consumer behavior and consumer decision-making. For the last 10+ years, Prof.’s research has focused on a variety of questions related to the concepts of authenticity, identity, and the self. Prof. is regarded as one of the leading experts on the concept of authenticity and its role in everyday life.
Prof. has published more than 50 articles in leading scholarly journals and the research has been featured in a number of popular media outlets including the New York Times, Scientific American, the Wall Street Journal, and the Economist.
