COURSE DESCRIPTION
Circling around the popular topic of Type I Diabetes, the research program will study one or two clinical cases to discuss the effects of Type I Diabetes on the cardiovascular system. It is a great research opportunity for students who want to go into pre-med majors or those who want to study healthcare management or public health in the future. Students will learn to read, evaluate, and analyze real-world clinical cases and generate meaningful insights under the guidance of the professor and research mentor.
PROFESSOR BACKGROUND
Professor is a cardiologist and vascular medicine specialist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Previously, Prof. was section director of vascular medicine at the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University Medical School.
